Cloth Diapers Are Popular Once Again

Thanks to the information age it is hard for those who are in power to keep other people in the dark. One day, a friend of mine asked me “If the food in the fast-food restaurants is not healthy then why are they selling it?” I say “Well, for the money.” For the convenience, instead of cooking at home people jump in the car, drive to the closest McDonalds or KFC, buy a meal for 15-20 bucks and the dinner is solved. It is filling, tasty, and convenient. Yeah, convenience is a big word and the multibillion companies know how to manipulate that. Diapers industry is not different….

Pampers were introduced in the market by Procter and Gamble in 1961. In 50 years it has become so widespread that some of us don’t even know that other types of diapers exist. Has anybody seen written on any disposable diapers packages the chemical components of which they are made? NO! They just list what is not added such as “Chlorine Free”, Fragrance Free”, and “Petroleum Based Lotion Free” but what about the other harmful chemicals? I saw this concept the other day when Seventh Generation came out with a “good” idea. If you buy chlorine free dippers you can reduce 1300 lbs of chlorinated hydrocarbons from our air, lakes and streams. Wow, what a consciousness!

Cloth diapers! Going back to things that work is timeless and that’s the key! It is simple and convenient especially if you use our diaper service. And in the long run you save money too. Have you ever seen multibillion diaper service companies? NO! But disposable diaper manufacturers yes!
